Welcome to jandel designer bags! My interest in sewing began at a young age and is a skill that I have used my whole life. As a mother I would design and make matching outfits for my 5 children! I love the design process - from choosing the fabric, creating the look, and making it come to life. Every bag is unique - some are designed with someone specifically in mind, others because I like the combination of colors and textures. It has been a fun journey to get to this point and I am so excited to share it with you. Enjoy! Thanks, Ruthie

Coming from a large family, my mom would help make ends meet by sewing pretty much everything we wore. As an avid seamstress she would whip up stuff for me to wear so that I was the best dressed kid around. My appreciation for sewing and design comes from my mother- Jan Delores, so I thought it only appropriate to name my business after her. I will always be grateful to my sweet mom for bestowing in me her talent for envisioning, implementing and producing quality designs. It is her example that is my driving force. I have felt her influence with me every "stitch" of the way.
